2010 Talent Search Competition and Pasta Dinner

~Saturday March 6th, 2010 ~ 6:30 p.m.~

Rockaway Beach Community Center

Everyone… come for DINNER and a SHOW!!

Pasta Dinner 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Talent Search begins 6:30 p.m.

Adults may purchase tickets at the door for $8.00 each. Children 12 and under are $4.00. Admission includes price of the pasta dinner being served from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and one ticket to the talent show.

Contestants:

Cash prizes in each category and one grand prize 4 hour recording session. All performances will be judged by an impartial panel of judges. The Rockaway Beach Chamber of Commerce will not be participating in the judging. If applicable, please include personal information about yourself such as awards or competitions you have won. Talent search begins at 6:30 Dinner will be provided at no charge for the contestants and judges only.

· Entry fees (includes pasta dinner): Single Performer $20, Duo/Duet $25, Group (3 or more) $30

· Cut off/ Due date for application: Friday February 26^th, 2010

· Please limit total performance time to 8 minutes.

· Judged on; Performance, Appearance, Audience Response, Originality and Stage Presence. Each category worth up to 10 points.

· Vocalists, please perform two pieces of contrasting styles.

· Categories: Child, Adult & Group

· Check-in between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.

Your performance will be judged on Appearance, Originality, Stage Presence, Performance and Audience Response. Each category is worth 10 points.
